Sunny Day

Today the basil, broccoli, sun gold tomatoes, yellow crookneck, zucchini, poinsett cucumbers, jack be little pumpkin, one celebrity tomato and blue morning glories have germinated. The air is cool but warm in the greenhouse and the two old pepper plants that wintered over are sending out new leaves. The 2 super marzano tomato plants are doing well. Didn't find any more slugs or snails today in greenhouse. I planted my sweetpeas in planters next to the greenhouse on the deck. The outside soil is saturated from all the rain and the pond is full. Still have another bag of strawberries to get planted need to buy another bag of potting soil. I will soon run out of pots in which to plant. Tonight is the yacht club potluck and Bruce made a nice stew for our contribution. So good to see the sun.
